Even though the real spring hasn’t come yet, but according to the forecasts it’s on the way. Since better weather gives us more options for outdoor activities, one of the choices could be participating in running event. Well… why not?
If you have never tried to participate in a running event, make the new goal for yourself (5 km) and try it. Participation in running is a great choice because all people, no matter what their pace, could attend it and enjoy the race experience. And, believe me, it really is for everyone. You can walk, jog or run. The only thing what you need is just to show enthusiasm and some commitment and you are in! Also, invite a friend and it will be more fun to join together.
If running is one of your favorite workouts, then instead of only 5km you can enhance your goal to 10km…of course, then, you will need some time for more practicing.
The closest running event in Aarhus that you can participate is Aarhus’ biggest women running event which will be held on 4th of March. You can find out more information about the event here. Besides the excitement when crossing the finish line you will also get goodie bags and running t-shirts as well as you will increase your self-confidence. Moreover, by participating in this particular event you will help to Cancer Society (Kræftens Bekæmpelse).
