Get Healthy Hair Now


When I used up the last drops of my favourite shampoo, it felt like a disaster as I had bought the shampoo during my study trip overseas, and it was nowhere to be found here in Denmark. Of course, a search on Ebay provided me with several possibilities, except that the price was four times higher than the initial price of the product. So, I began my long search for a proper replacement. Back then, I had a rather stressful time at work and with studies, which caused my hair to fall out. I would find my hair everywhere in the apartment, and brushing felt like torture. I decided to find another way – go through my fridge. My mother always told me that it is always best to use the gifts of nature instead of chemistry, and I had a chance to test it myself. These are the ingredients that I use:

1 egg yolk

2 table spoons olive oil

1 tea spoon almond oil

1 tea spoon honey

Just mix all the ingredients together until even and apply to a slightly moist hair, massaging the mask into the roots. Next, take a shower cap and leave the mask for 1-2 hours for a better result. You should not wash out the mask with hot water or you’ll make an omelette in your hair- and that is the only disadvantage of this mask. Egg yolk contains lecithin, amino acids, as well as vitamins A, B, E, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus that nourishes and strengthens your hair. Almond oil, rich with E and F vitamins, makes your hair glossy and soft, and prevents the end from splitting. Likewise, olive oil nourishes your hair and stimulates growth and repair. Last, but not least is honey. We all know it, and have used it as a remedy for illnesses for a long time. Honey is also a remedy for the hair as well, renewing the natural structure of your hair and strengthening it.

Personally, I have used this mask 2-3 times a week for a last couple of months. After a month, I noticed that my hair stopped falling out, became glossy and the ends stopped splitting. My hair is easier to comb and looks healthy and beautiful. Of course, there are other factors which influence the growth and health of your hair. If you combine the procedure with a healthy diet filled with natural oils and vitamins, such as from avocados, nuts or meat, it will strengthen your hair both from the inside and the outside. On the other hand, nourishing your hair from the outside has its own advantages and clear visual results.
